Khao Sok National Park is famous for its limestone cliffs, wildlife (tigers), boating and trekking options. Especially the scenery and wildlife are amazing. Our tour guides know this park inside out and can show you things you have never seen before. The tour will also take you on a night safari which will show you the transformation of the jungle and wildlife which happens as soon as the sun sets. To really appreciate this beautiful park this tour is longer than most tour operators provide, but we think there is just too much to see in this park to cut it short.
Extra info: After many remarks from our clients about the very basic conditions on the rafts, we decided to change the program and not to overnight here anymore. We still will do a full-day visit to the lake but at the end of the day will come back to our comfortable accommodation at the headquarters. If you want to stay the night at the raft houses we can organize this.

The tour starts in Bangkok where you take the night train to the south.
In the morning you arrive with the night train from Bangkok in Suratthani. From the train station, you transfer to Khao Sok National Park, which takes about two hours. Khao Sok National Park is a nature reserve in southern Thailand with dense jungle, limestone karst formations, and interesting wildlife like hornbills, gibbons and even tigers. You will be staying at the Khao Sok Paradise Resort and from here you will explore this beautiful park for a few days.
After lunch, you will go tubing down the Sok River, observing dramatic mountain cliffs and wildlife along the way, then, visit a viewpoint and small waterfall on the way back. Dinner and overnight in your jungle resort.
A trip to Raja Phraba lake, for a 1-hour scenic boat tour around the lake. Emerald waters, primary jungle, and majestic limestone cliffs will make it seem like a fairy tale. After the scenic tour, we will stop at raft houses for a lunch with local delicacies. You have time to explore the surroundings by canoe or go for a swim. Next, a 1.5-hour trek across the jungle, to spot wildlife and check the local fauna and flora.
The trip continues to Nam Taloo Cave, (depending on the weather condition), a refuge for communist students end of the 70’ as they were persecuted by the army and hiding in the jungle. More chances for wildlife spottings such as longtail macaques, langurs and all kinds of reptiles. Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Breakfast, then visit an elephant-friendly camp where you will feed the elephants and learn about their daily life, no elephant riding. If you do not want to visit the elephants we will organize a jungle hike for you, trek through the Khao Sok jungle with one of our English speaking guides and discover what nature has to offer. Our experienced guides can spot snakes and other animals that the untrained eye would miss.
After dinner we go for a Night Safari, night time is the time when wildlife comes out to hunt as it is cooler. The jungle takes a totally different dimension in the dark. An experienced night safari guide will take you through the jungle to spot some amazing animals. Stay overnight in your resort.
After breakfast, your tour ends here. You can take the train back to Bangkok, we can book an onward flight or you can extend your holiday in a different way, all up to you.
