Thailand certainly has its fair share of both Jungles and National Parks. This tour takes you to the best of both and gives enough time to enjoy. First, you stay in Bangkok to explore and discover this beautiful city for a few days, then to Chiang Mai for a Jungle trek to get an idea of Hill Tribe’s life and have an up-close and personal experience with a group of elephants plus bamboo rafting in beautiful surroundings. Back in Chiang Mai, time to explore the city, its temples and the night market. Onward to Khao Sok National Park for limestone cliffs, wildlife (tigers), boating and more trekking. This tour ends in Khao Sok, but can be extended with a stay at the beach or in the north of Thailand, it is up to you.

After arrival at Bangkok Airport, our guide will meet you in the arrival hall and take you to the Eastin Makkasan, a nice hotel in a good location. You have time to relax or discover the area near the hotel. Day 2 and 3 you have time to roam the city all by yourself, take a tuk-tuk ride, visit temples and the palace, or some of the big shopping centers. Or go on a bicycle ride through the less known areas, it is all up to you. You can also just relax at the pool. On the evening of day 3, you will take the night train to Chiang Mai.
Start with exploring Chaing Mai at your leisure and prepare for your trek which will start the next day.
We drive to Mae Wang, south of Chiang Mai and from here you go on a trek through the mountains to visit hill tribe villages. You walk through dense forest, open areas, plantations owned by mountain people, and sometimes along or through rivers. You spend the night in a Karen village, in one of their houses and experience their lifestyle and food, an experience to never forget. The next day we walk down the hills for a visit to an elephant camp, a swim at a waterfall and bamboo rafting trip along a peaceful river, then onward to Chiang Mai.
On day 7, more time to explore the city, visit the temples, go for a zipline tour, visit the umbrella village Bor Sang or the woodcarvers’ town of Ban Tawai. Enough to do and see in Chiang Mai, don’t forget to visit the famous night market.
This part of the tour starts with a flight to Suratthani where we pick you up and bring you to Khao Sok National Park, a nature reserve in southern Thailand with dense jungle, limestone karst formations, and interesting wildlife like hornbills, gibbons and even tigers. We will be staying at Khao Sok Paradise in a treehouse for the night. You explore this beautiful park for a few days. Go tubing down the Sok River, visit a viewpoint, take a boat tour on the Raja Phraba lake and stay overnight in floating houses, surrounded by emerald waters, primary jungle, and majestic limestone cliffs surrounding the lake. At the raft houses, you can canoe or swim, make a jungle trek to see wildlife and visit a cave. Plenty of adventure.
Your tour ends on the morning of the 11th day. We can make arrangements for transfer to Bangkok Airport for your connecting international flight or you can extend your holiday either at a beach or in the North, depending on your choice, check it out here.
