Itinerary

Day 1Mae Win and Karen Village

In the morning we drive towards the jungle until we reach Mae Win. Here we will take a short walk to a waterfall and we can enjoy a swim. After lunch, we continue for another 40 minutes of hiking, today a total of about 2 hours. We reach a Karen village where we will spend the night. Your chance to learn about the fascinating Karen tribe and their way of living. You will spend the night with a Karen host family in a hill tribe house.

Day 2Elephants and Waterfall

Today a total walking distance of 3 hrs. First, we hike to the elephant sanctuary. An elephant-friendly experience, local Karen people take care of the elephants, no more logging or elephant riding. Feed the elephants, interact and play with the elephants in their natural environment. Take a mud spa with the elephants and walk them to a beautiful waterfall for more water fun. Photo opportunity aplenty.
After lunch, we hike downhill for about 1.5 hours to the river. We take it easy on the way and stop to take pictures, swim at a waterfall and visit other hill tribe villages. Then onward to the location of our unique jungle camp where we will spend the night. The river is close to the camp and you can take a swim (or bath). A campfire is planned for the evening.

Day 3Rafting and Hiking

In the morning we will hike towards the river where we will board bamboo rafts and cruise down the river to the village where we will have lunch and get transport back to Chiang Mai. We will arrive in the afternoon in Chiang Mai. Here ends your tour.
