Start of our two day trek. Drive north of Chiang Mai towards Phrao where we have lunch. From here we start our 2 hour walk to a Karen village. After that half hour walk to Lisu and Akha village. Then 1 hour walk to Palong village. We spend the night in the Palong village. See the Palong tribe who only recently came to settle in Thailand from Burma.Accommodation in a hill tribe house. more

In the morning we drive to the north and make a stop at a local market where the guide will buy food for the trek and you can buy some water. Then into the mountains to the starting point of the trek. We will walk in about 3 hours through the beautiful jungle to a nice hill tribe village.We take it easy on the way and stop to take pictures and swim at a water fall. Overnight in the village. more

In the morning we drive North West of Chiang Mai until we reach Mae Sae. Here we will take a short walk to a waterfall and we enjoy some swimming. After lunch we continue another 40 minutes. Today we will walk about 2 hours until we reach a Karen village where we will spend the night. Learn about the fascinating Karen tribe and spend the night with the Karen host family. In the morning we drive for about 3 hours. After lunch we walk about 3 hours to a Lisu village where we will spend the night with this colorful tribe.Today total walking about 3 hrs 30 min. In the morning we will walk to a waterfall in the middle of the jungle. We can do some swimming here. After that we continue to walk through rice fields and plantations and have lunch at a farmer’s house. After lunch we continue to a Karen village. Accommodation in a hill tribe house. more
